Sailor Cocktail Series

The Cocktail Series (カクテルシリーズ) is a vibrant collection of fountain pens by Sailor, modelled after various alcoholic beverages. Sailor releases a new colour each year. The pens usually have a limit of 300 or less before 2017. In 2017, the Apres Ski had a limit of 800, while Tequila Sunrise from 2018 has a limit of 1000. The increase in availability demonstrates the extend of the series’ popularity. You can find the new releases for sale online at Nagasawa or Mitadepa. You may past releases on Kingdom Note or Yahoo! Auctions from time-to-time. A deputy service or a kind friend who lives in Japan is required if you wish to purchase these pens through the above vendors. You may find them on Ebay as well, but the pricing is often less competitive than Japanese vendors, even with the additional cost of a deputy service.

  1. I love writing with my regular sized pro gear’s. I just wish they would release each special edition in a regular size and slim size (maybe even KOP size) because I find the slim size far too small to use comfortably. That White Russian and the Nonble Series would have been immediate purchases if they had the original sizes available.
