Where to buy?
You will most likely need a deputy service in order to purchase this pen. Sankodo and Maruzen had confirmed that they will carry this pen. They are vendors located in Nagoya and are available for in-store purchases only. You might find the pen for sale online at Nagasawa and Mitadepa for they have carried the previous Cocktail Series releases, but they have not announced anything as of yet. The Cocktail Series (カクテルシリーズ) is a vibrant collection of fountain pens by Sailor, modelled after various alcoholic beverages. Sailor releases a new colour each year. The pens usually have a limit of 300 or less before 2017. In 2017, the Apres Ski had a limit of 800, while Tequila Sunrise from 2018 has a limit of 1000. The increase in availability demonstrates the extend of the series’ popularity. You can find the new releases for sale online at Nagasawa or Mitadepa. You may past releases on Kingdom Note or Yahoo! Auctions from time-to-time. A deputy service or a kind friend who lives in Japan is required if you wish to purchase these pens through the above vendors. You may find them on Ebay as well, but the pricing is often less competitive than Japanese vendors, even with the additional cost of a deputy service.
